By downloading or using Fodmap, formerly published as IBS Logger ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The App

What Fodmap Does

Fodmap is a health tracking application designed to help individuals with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) track symptoms, identify suspected trigger foods, and follow the low-FODMAP diet process. The app provides:

• Symptom, trigger, and flare tracking
• Meal and food logging with FODMAP classification
• Bristol scale stool tracking and pattern summaries
• Pattern analysis, suspect-food ranking, and flare-risk estimates
• A guided 3-phase low-FODMAP diet journey
• IBS-SSS severity questionnaire
• Menstrual cycle insight (optional)
• Data export capabilities

Fodmap is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• The app is for informational and tracking purposes only
• It does not replace professional medical advice
• Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions
• Do not disregard or delay seeking medical advice based on app content

Medical Disclaimer

Important: Please read this section carefully.

Fodmap is a wellness and tracking tool, not a medical application:

• The app's insights and risk estimates are based on pattern recognition in your own logged data, not medical diagnosis
• Risk estimates and suspect-food rankings are statistical estimates and may not be accurate
• The app cannot detect, diagnose, or treat any medical condition
• The low-FODMAP diet is a clinical dietary protocol best undertaken with guidance from a qualified healthcare professional, such as a GI dietitian
• In case of a medical emergency, call your local emergency services
• If you experience severe or concerning symptoms, seek immediate medical attention

By using this app, you acknowledge that you understand it is not a substitute for professional medical care.

User Responsibilities

Accurate Information

You are responsible for:

• Entering accurate tracking information
• Using the app as a supplement to, not replacement for, medical care
• Consulting healthcare providers about your symptoms and treatment
• Understanding that pattern recognition requires consistent data entry

Appropriate Use

You agree to:

• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Intellectual Property

Fodmap, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Salimov Studios and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app without permission
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
• Create derivative works based on the app

Subscription

What's Included

Fodmap requires a subscription, which provides full access to the app, including:

• Tracking, insights, and suspect-food analysis
• The guided 3-phase low-FODMAP journey
• Unlimited PDF and CSV exports
• All future feature updates while subscribed

Billing and Payments

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No refunds for partial periods or unused features

Free Trial

If a free trial is offered:

• You can cancel anytime during the trial period without charge
• If you don't cancel, you'll be charged when the trial ends
• Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid charges

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Data and Privacy

Your use of Fodmap is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• All health data is stored locally on your device
• We do not collect, store, or sell your personal health information
• You own your data and can export or delete it anytime

App Availability and Changes

No Warranty

Fodmap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all devices or iOS versions
• Accuracy of estimates or insights
• That the app will meet your specific needs

Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app
• Update features, pricing, or subscription terms
• Require updates to continue using the app

We'll notify you of significant changes when possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Salimov Studios is not liable for any damages arising from use of Fodmap
• This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on app data or estimates
• We are not liable for data loss (back up your data via export)
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Salimov Studios from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the app
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

Third-Party Services

The app integrates with third-party services:

• Apple App Store: Subject to Apple's terms and policies
• RevenueCat: For subscription management (see their terms)
• Firebase Analytics: For anonymous app-usage analytics (see Firebase terms)

We are not responsible for third-party service availability, accuracy, or policies.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you:

• Violate these terms
• Use the app in ways that harm others or the app
• Engage in fraudulent activity

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Salimov Studios operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution

Before filing any claim, please contact us at salimovstudios@gmail.com to attempt informal resolution.

Children

Fodmap is not intended for users under 13 years of age. If we learn that we've collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Export Compliance

You agree not to export or re-export the app in violation of any applicable export control laws.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Entire Agreement
